Langkawi Once More: Back to Vote

Again back in Langkawi to vote. Before fulfilling my duty as a responsible Malaysian, my wife and I had the chance to take a tour around the island. We used to stay in Langkawi in 1998 up till 2000 and we are a bit sentimental about this island. Great memories remain. Here are some of the moments..... from eating, shopping, touring and voting...

Great Alternative Places to Stay in Langkawi

The Villa Chenang
The Desa Terrace
Ntalia Inn

Jasmine Villa

La Pari-Pari

Langkawi Chantique
Guys, if you are looking for something different, just search for these places online. The places are just so great, surrounded with padi (rice) fields, mountains view and the traditional Malay village, very exclusive and a bit privacy. The range of price between RM 190 to RM 300 per night depending on the type of rooms and the facilities available. Beach front chalets, resorts and famous hotel chains may not be the prime choice now as quite a number of such private villas and chalets are mushrooming in Langkawi and the business is doing very well.
